How Pure Health Desk researches, writes and reviews what it publishes. This describes our actual process.
How we research
- We start from primary literature — trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses — not from other people’s articles.
- We read the methods. Sample size, duration, funding source and whether a result was the primary endpoint all change how much weight it deserves.
- For any ingredient we compare the dose actually studied against the dose typically supplied.
- Where evidence is animal-only, very small or industry-funded, we say so in the text rather than burying it.
How we write
- Plain language, with uncertainty stated rather than smoothed over.
- No prices in body copy or metadata — they vary by region and go stale.
- No ‘miracle’, ‘cure’ or ‘guaranteed’. If a claim needs that vocabulary, the evidence is not there.
- Sources linked inline so a reader can check our reading against the original.
Review and updates
Health information ages. Pages are revisited when relevant research is published, and substantive changes carry an updated date.
Authorship
Articles are published under the Pure Health Desk editorial team unless a named contributor is credited. Where a named author or reviewer appears, that is a real person with the credentials shown — we do not invent bylines or fabricate reviewer credentials.
Independence
No brand pays for coverage, sees copy before publication, or has any right of approval over what we conclude.
